QA Automation lead engineer,
Software team

At Nexite, you will have the chance to bring your QA automation engineering skills into the engineering group and develop cutting edge automation solutions. We are seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to design testing procedures for our software applications. In this role, will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team. To ensure success as a QA Automation Engineer, you should have advanced programming skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent project management skills. A skilled QA Automation Engineer can design and write efficient test procedures for every software application.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product team and engineering team to discuss test plans and test criterias
  • Help develop test plans for maximum coverage
  • Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.
  • Develop end to end QA automation scripts for the designed test plans
  • Develop QA automation tools and best practices for the use of each developer
  • Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas, and automating tests accordingly.
  • Designing and installing software automation tools.
  • Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
  • Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to solve application faults.
  • Self learner. Able to bring in and adapt to new technologies
  • Stay up to date with current best practices
  • Work in an agile environment . Be ready to adapt to changes, after all we are a startup company

QA Automation Lead Engineer Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field.
  • Previous experience working as a QA Automation Lead Engineer.
  • Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java/Python/Golang/Scala
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira/Monday etc…
  • Familiarity with test cases/test plan management systems
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent team player
  • Capacity to successfully manage a pipeline of duties with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary system is a plus
