- About Nexite Nexite is a leading startup, which comes to revolutionize the IoT for fashion retail space. We develop a platform that merges the physical and digital spaces for retail. Our innovative platform is based on cutting edge battery-less BLE tags that communicate with a cloud platform through an in-store wireless access network. Nexite is growing and we look for a Senior Embedded Engineer to join our Gateway development efforts.
- Design and develop embedded SW: communication, BSP, OS (RTOS, Linux), tools and more.
- Own the embedded SW deliveries including quality, schedule, and content.
- Collaboration with the various R&D teams: SW, System, HW and System validation to ensure products meet significant quality, reliability, and service level requirements for an enterprise environment.
- Troubleshoot system, performance, and functional issues with the software.
- 5+ years of experience as an embedded software developer.
- Hands-on and proficiency in C/C++/Python programming for embedded systems.
- Deep understanding of ARM based processor architecture, SW-HW interfaces and Operating Systems.
- Experience in bare metal development or on top of a RTOS.
- Wireless communication knowledge (cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth…)
- Deep Knowledge of low-level communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI) and drivers (USB, Eth).
- B.Sc In Computer Science / SW Engineering / Electronics Engineering..
- Experience with lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscope, power supply etc.
